I began working for the Pure
Gold chain as a valet in the Wilmington clubs, after that I
moved up to a floor man at Pure Gold Wilmington and was then
transferred to Dockside Dolls as floor man and bartender.
Dockside Dolls Wilmington is where I began my management career.
I trained as an assistant and was then transferred to Pure Gold
Cary where I continued my training as an assistant manager.
Dockside Dolls Garner was being renovated at the time. With the
new look and the change of the name to Pure Gold's Crazy Horse,
I was then sent to Garner to take the job as Co-Manager.. After
being in Garner for some time I was then sent to Pure Gold in
Southern Pines where I took on the job as General Manager. Then
I traveled to Nashville, TN where I recognized the challenge to
start a new club as the General Manager. Nashville
was my club for a couple of years, and I then came back to Pure
Gold in Cary where I am still managing right now.
My journey to this point with Pure Gold is one highlighted with
opportunities and challenges alike. After a period in research
chemistry, I was extended an opportunity with Pure Gold of Cary
in 2004 as a member of the door staff. In 2006 I was introduced
into management, and have not looked back since! While working
with the Pure Gold Team, I have been recognized as employee of
the year (’07), and have received honors on Management
Professionalism (’06) and Manager of the Year (’08).
